Ladybugs Feast on Warthogs in Annual Pigskin Classic

The annual Ladybug – Warthog football game was held under blue skies last Friday in front of a record setting crowd of students, alumni and parents.

The Warthogs, who signed former Ladybug head coach Mr. Spence as a free agent during the off season, entered the game confident they could squish their opponents.

But former Ladybug standout player and now first-year coach Mr. Zlatos (HFA ’10) vowed that the Ladybugs would make the Warthogs squeal.

In a hard fought game that saw both teams move the ball up an down the field, the Ladybugs pulled away in the last quarter to record a 34-18 victory!

After the game, families enjoyed a fantastic spaghetti dinner organized by the booster club.
